Meet Jenny Sanford Salter

My idea for starting It Takes Two Events developed after falling in love with weddings while working as an intern for a local wedding publication. Pursuing a career that I not only love, but as owner alongside my sister, is my dream come true. I graduated with a degree in Marketing from the University of Georgia and am proud to be an alumna of the Terry College of Business.

 

What I love most about our process is developing personal relationships with our couples. Getting to know a bride and groom allows me to give them a completely custom experience. One of my favorite parts in sending them the initial inspiration boards. It’s exciting for me to present them with ideas and anticipate what they’re going to come back with. It gives me a glimpse into the couple’s “design personality” and I look forward to making that a reality for them. I think of myself as a good listener and I really care about what is going on in the lives of our couples, because that trickles into the planning. This helps me to understand them better and how to approach the planning process. I'm humbled to receive the trust of so many sweet couples!

 

My husband, Chris, and I live in Alpharetta and are proud parents to twin boys, Sanford and JR, and another boy on the way! I am so thankful for my family's tremendous support in pursuing a career that I love!

 

Fun Fact: One of my favorite things to do spontaneously is to go to concerts with Lauren! Justin Bieber and Hunter Hayes are two of our latest!
